A day in class , A lecturer in class wanted his students to try and make up a tragedy story and that they had 20 mins to do the needful.
So the group of students named below Shariff, Sridevi, Naresh, Raju, Rakesh, Santosh
After some serious deliberation these are the stories that they came up with
Story 1A guy working in a company and is getting credit for all the things that he hasn’t done. People around him feel that he is talented and hardworking and really deserves what ever he has got in the short span of time he has spent the company . They also felt that the guy is very happy in his life and he showed it to everyone.
But that was not the story as the guy was not really happy as he had a real guilty feeling and the biggest tragedy in his life was getting all the credit for things which he hasn’t contributed to and his inability to confess about the fact.
Story 2
This is all about love and romance between a boy and a girl…hey!!!! I know what you all thinking it must be a love story right ????, like boy and girl fall in love and they finally don’t get married…Nahhhh, don’t get any ideas….., it’s not the usual love tragedy but with a twist, which ends up in tragedy though well, this is how it goes……….. The boy loves the girl very much, but the girl pretends well that she likes him so much….now, it came to a point, when the boy asks the girl for marriage and asks her to take her parents’ permission…... Now the girl knows well that her parents will not accept for love marriage since she is a Hindu and the guy is a Christian….but just for the guys satisfaction( since she doesn’t like him , like him much….) she spoke to her parents regarding the same, now the whole family fell to complete silence, and the girls dad spoke after some few minutes, and the father spoke “Anything For You My Child…!!!” and the girl ended up crying ……………………………………….

So at the end of the 20 mins that was allotted to the students to come up with a tragic story but at the end when sir asked for the stories the biggest tragedy was despite of having all the above stories the inability of the students to select any one and decide.

Never Too Late
Context: MCA /M.Sc Placement Assignment : Write a Tragic Story with a twist in 15 minutes

A boy was there who was very intelligent but always run away from responsibilities, he was doing graduation . In college if he was assigned any work , or assignments he never complete it on the time until there is compulsion.
Then in the last year when there was placement for there course , almost all his friends were placed except him. Then he realized , what he lost by running away from the responsibilities. He was very upset for whatever happened and his parents who were having expectations from him also lost hope on him. So by seeing all these he was ashamed of himself and he decided that he will become something in life. And next day he went somewhere without telling to anyone, not even his parents.
Days passed but no news of him. And after two years he came back , he was totally a changed man who learned the value of time and was willing to take responsibilities and his parents were astonished to see him. And he said that he joined airforce where he was living a very disciplined life and was proud of him because he changed himself. Thus by being determined to become something he achieved something in his life.

If anyone asks about this he used to reply: “Yesterday I had a sleepless night... and morning got up late...!” Everyone kept on asking… but he never used to reveal what was actually happening… till the day one of his best friend Johan found out that he was meeting for his girl whom he loved very much. He was so crazy about her… that every day he used to go to her place in the morning with a huge bouquet, gives her and spends time with her which makes him late to classes. Since she was studying in evening college, he won’t be able to meet her during evenings. But he was so lazy to do his work. This romantic Rajesh folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl. Though her parents dint like him coz they thought he doesn’t have enough financial support to take care of her... they were very happy together... Until one day, his girl told him she was going to US and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so let's go their own ways there and then... heartbroken, Rajesh agreed.
When he regained his confidence, his college life was over…and entered into corporate world. He worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of him. Finally with all these hard work and with the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company…

While he was driving he got an unknown call saying that the girl passed away this day morning…! And was seriously sick for the past 3 years..! He heard from the caller that since she came to know that she had got blood cancer she lied to him telling that she is going to US! Thoughts started attacking him. He realized that it was exactly 3 years that she left him. The guy was so shattered that he stopped the car and wept outside in the rain. After some time he found the presence of a soft touch on his shoulder. He suddenly turned back… to his surprise… IT WAS SHE..!!! Whom he thought was dead..!
His excitement was to the core..! “Oh my God...! My Sweet heart..!! U alive..!! “He told with mixed expressions. He was so confused… as to how to react. She was just smiling and standing beside him. When he became normal she started talking. “Yes My dear…Nothing happened to me. I am totally fine and normal as I was… 3 years before.” Rajesh asked again: “Then why you left me 3 years back and also why today’s call came to me .!” She gave a naughty smile and started explaining:”The day when I met you, I was so proud that… yes..! I got a hardworking and smart guy whom I can show to my parents proudly and can tell them to make me marry him. But days started going one by one that we both became so close and you became so madly in love that u stopped doing all your work and started becoming very lazy. And finally I realized if this goes you would flunk in the course which you were doing and finally end up in a worst future. So in order to make you “a smart and punctual Rajesh“I did this drama ;)… and here you are… as one of the dignified person in the society. And today since it’s your birthday, wanted to give a shocking surprise. And shock is over… and here I am as a surprise gift for you for the rest of your life..!!! “

"Dude, There are cops behind us!" said Ananth.
"Oh! Damn it!" says Raghav who was on the driuvers seat.
"Quick! Fasten on your seat belt" said Chirag and Amar in unison.
Raghav started panicking. He searched and searched for the seat belt and finally found it underneath his buttocks.
"whoa! Found it!" Says the relieved Raghav.
"Why is the vehicle moving towards the left? Raghav arent you supposed to be driving!!!"
It was w small road there was sea alongside. No railings on the road. Raghav quickly manuevered the vehicle towards his right.
The vehicle was back on track. The cops zipped passed them without any questioning and the four friends were further relieved to see that.
This was the first time Ananth Amar Chirag and Raghav were on a road trip. They were driving continuously for the past 2 days in and around the small roads of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
And this wasnt the first time they had got into trouble like this. The previous day, Ananth almost ran over a chicken and got chased by a village head. Chirag and Amar were chased by an entire village as they had accidentaly spotted to women bathing when they were out tkaing a dump. And Raghav had got three proposals from guys when he accidentaly entered a bar which had gays serving drinks.
The day before that. Somewhere on the beaches of Kovalam. Drunk, Dazzled and the Confused Four went to the restaurant. Ananth spotted a lady fairly in her 30's staring at him.
After a few minutes, Curious Ananth left the table that he was sitting with his friends and sat beside her on the counter. He looks at her face and smiles. She smiles back.
And suddenly she says. "Hey, How about putting this Damsel in Distress on a Dreamride somewhere..?? "
Excited, Ananth runs towards his friends.
"Dude, Gimme the Car Keys.??"
"What.??" syas Chirag
"Dude, key!! I'm on to something here!!" Half minded Chirag gives him the keys.
He goes back to the counter where he was before and the couple start talking. Half and hour into the conversation. Ananth brushes her hair.
One of the waiters at the Restaurant comes towards the other three and says and whispers something to their ears. The burst out laughing.
They tip the waiter. They give him a not and ask him to give to Ananth.
Ananth reads the note and is stunned. He dropped the note down. It layn on the floor saying " Woh Ladka Hai, Ladki nahi :P "
Ananth rushes towards the exit and the other three teased him all night long.
And now. They almost escaped an accident. Almost got chased by the police.
They reached the beach of Velangani. It was deserted. Laughing and Smiling. The four of them got down and ran towards the sea
But little did they know that even death was smiling back at them, Crouching and Hiding behind them.
Birds started chirping. More of an agigated chirp. The four boys looked towards the sea. Waves as high as a clock tower came thundering towards them. Shell Shocked. They tried to run but it was too late. For the monstrous wave had already passed. And everyting went blank.
Ananth got up in an amnesiac state. He lay on the floors of an old church. beside him was Raghav lying motionless with his head ruptured. Shocked, He came out. Searched around for Amar and Chirag. There were no signs of them. In misery, In pain. He sat in the church for 3 long days until the rescue team arrived in search of missing Tsunami Victims.
On December 26th, We were 4, Now its just Me writing this to newpaper column.

There is this guy.He goes to a bar that's on the tenth floor of a hotel. He sits down and has a couple of drinks, then stands up, announces loudly that he has had enough, and goes over and jumps out the window. Now, there are two men who are sitting at a window table, and having that natural human curiosity about what this fellow is going to do, watch as this man jumps.
However, just as he is about to hit the ground, he rights himself, pulls his feet underneath himself,and lands gracefully. He then turns and comes back into the building. The two men who were watching this are so amazed. The guy comes back into the bar, orders a few drinks, then repeats the process. The two men at the window seat are stunned!! When the guy returns and repeats the procedure AGAIN, the two men stop him before he jumps and ask him how on earth he does that. He replies "It's simple, really. There's an air vent down by the ground, and if you catch the updraft, you can right yourself and land on the ground with no problems." Then he proceeded to jump out the window again. Well, these two men decided that they just HAD to try this, so they jumped out the window, and splat!UNFORTUNATELY they couldn't feel the airvent or catch the updraft and made a mess hitting all over the ground.They DIED.
Meanwhile, the first guy has made it back up to the bar. When he sits down to order his drinks, the bartender says "Superman, you can be a real when you're drunk!"

Random Numbers
Context: MCA / Library Reading Assignment

Book: Art of Computer Programming: Donald E Knuth
Random numbers are actually nothing but pseudo random numbers i.e. a sequence of numbers in which any particular number does not have any correlation with its predecessor. However, a machine being capable of executing only finite sequence of operations, can never generate truly random numbers.
They have a huge number of applications - from lotteries to casinoes to helping executives make decisions.
There are many ways of generating random numbers - e.g. by squaring an n digit number and then taking the next number as its middle n digits. E.g. 35^2 = 1225, thus the next number is 22. Then, 22^2 is 484, thus the next number is 48. 48^2 is 2304, so the next number is 30 giving the sequence
35,22,48,30,90,......
This, though not the best is still quite a random looking sequence.
2 questions which I wanted to ask which the book prompts are :
Q.1. If there are a sequence of a million digits, what are the chances that all occur exactly 100000 times? Further, what is it that a sequence should have for you to consider it truly random?
Q.2. What is the successor of 10101010 by the middle square method? And it's successor?

Love ... Never Ending

There lived a very naughty boy in a village he never followed any rules set by his parents or villagers. Everyone complained against the boy. Years passed this way. After few years the boy fell in love with a girl. His view towards the life changed completely. He grew responsible. Everyone started appreciating him. For his love to be successful he had to be successful so he moved to a city and started putting lots of efforts in his work. His hard work got him success. The boy then returned to his village as a successful man only to see his love married.

Well frankly speaking this is a story of a little girl Ann who lives in her own world who dreams a lot and the she believes in destiny also she lived in a city where she spent most of the time with her friend and loved the city where she was staying. She was an orphan but she was blessed with uncle and aunt who loved her a lot. Due to some circumstances and financial problems they had to leave the city.
Though the young girl had travelled long and stayed for many months in a new city she couldn’t forget her old friends and the old city where she stayed once a upon a time. Her friend was none other than the little princess of that old city where Ann lived once a upon a time. Ann couldn’t sleep because she used feel that her friend is in trouble and whenever she closes her eyes she used to come across herself and her friend and the city where she lived.
Looking at the child, uncle and aunt decided to take her to a specialist who can cure her problem of not sleeping at night. Ann infact tried cooperating with the doctor to get rid of all her problems she goes on telling her story and those days with her friend and also about the key which believes that her friend had dropped it in night in her dreams but really found it in the morning this made her think that there is something happening in the city where she previously lived.
Ann’s aunt decided to live her in the hospital under the Doctor’s control the Doctor too promised that he will cure the girl by his new electronic therapy. He and his assistant locked the little girl in the room. There came a magical girl who helped Ann to get out of that hospital. Both the girl and Ann tried to escape but soon the Doctor and her assistant found them by then they jumped into a pond the magical girl was drowned but Ann was alive. She opened her eyes she found her hen name Hegeldy Pegeldy who could speak like us both crossed the pond and where walking she realized that this was the same city where she lived had now turned into rock and stones all the living things where transformed into nonliving thing. She was unhappy about this she went inside the city she found many unique things then she entered into a Palace where she found a lady she asked her for help to get back her city to the normal state the lady promised her and took her to a room where she had cut the heads of all the people who had come in search of her. Ann was scared; the lady told Ann that she’s got to leave here for few days if she requires her help Ann agreed for it. She was again locked in a room by the lady. The lady was known other that an evil who had locked other two people in that room Ann with great difficulty tries to escape from that room with her new friend she is successful in doing that she has a magical lamp with her where she travels in a magical vehicle which can fly over the sky but due to bad wind the magical vehicle lands down there she finds a stone man who can speak he tells her that he will help her in bringing back the city to the normal state and infact send her home if she finds a person who stole his ornament who is now turned into an ornament now. She is got to guess only thrice if she guesses wrong she will be turned into an ornament. All her friends guesses it wrong and turns to an ornament but she guesses right and finds the person, the person whom she found was none other than the ruler of the city where she lived previously. She gets back all her friends by making a right guess.
The stone man got to know that the little girl guessed it right so he destroys everything and tries to break his promise he tries to eat all her friends but one among them was Hegeldy Pegeldy she lays a egg which falls in his month unfortunately. The egg is equal to poison for the stone man he dies due to it the stone man will be wearing a Ruby slipper which shines and is a magical shoe which can turn to be magical Ann finds it and she wears it. She gets back the city to the normal state how it was previously and the entire city respects her and treats her in a dignified manner. Then she is to be crowned as a little princess of the city but she finds the magical girl who saved her from the Doctor whom she thought that she was drowned. But the magical girl is been enchanted into a mirror by her step mother. She finds the magical girl finally and thanks her for her rescue and tells her that she want to return home. Then Ann gets to know that the magical girl is none other than the princess of that city. The magical girl gives her a key to return to the city whenever she wishes Ann hands over the magical shoe to the princess and with the help of it every one disappears.
When Ann opens her eyes she finds herself in the new city where her aunt and uncle and her little dog is waiting for her and there she sees that the Doctor and assistant have been arrested for making people insane who ever came for help.
Here ends the story the Girl Returns home after a long time of her magical journey.

Well frankly speaking this is a story of a little girl Ann who lives in her own world who dreams a lot and the she believes in destiny also she lived in a city where she spent most of the time with her friend and loved the city where she was staying. She was an orphan but she was blessed with uncle and aunt who loved her a lot. Due to some circumstances and financial problems they had to leave the city.
Though the young girl had travelled long and stayed for many months in a new city she couldn’t forget her old friends and the old city where she stayed once a upon a time. There was once a couple who lived in Taverepalya.They had a happy married life. Rodger had worked all of his life and had saved most of his money for potential rainy days in the future. He was a really stingy when it came to his money or anything to do with it. He loved money more than just about anything. He came to know that he had been suffering from cancer which he had neglected and it was in its final stages. This brought great sorrow to the both of them. Just before he died, he asked to his wife to bury him in a casket along with all the money he had saved till then. His last words were, “I want to take my money with me to the afterlife."
So he got his wife to promise him with all her heart that when he died, she would put all the money in the casket with him.
Well, one day he died. He was stretched out in the casket; the wife was sitting there in black next to her closest friend. When they finished the funeral ceremony, just before the undertakers got ready to close the casket, the wife said "Wait just a minute!” She had a box with her, which she came over with, and placed in the casket.
Then the undertakers locked the casket down and rolled it away. After the burial and departure of all friends and family, her closest friend came up to her and asked, "I hope you weren't crazy enough to put all that money in the casket with him."
She said, "Yes, I promised, I can't lie. I promised him that I was going to put that money in that casket with him." The friend turned to her in shock and awe wondering how she could have done such a silly and stupid thing.
"You mean to tell me you put every cent of his money in the casket with him?"
"Sure I did, " said the wife. "I got it all together, put it into my account and I wrote him a check."
